The intimate and casual setting of 4 diners at a Restaurant lends itself to a closer trust relationship than most traditional networking groups meeting in large settings (20+ members at a time, usually dominated by 2 or 3 people). Even if the Member bonds with 1 other Member at the Schmooze Event, it is a successful experience.
The Schmooze Events are for gainfully employed individuals who are open-minded and looking to schmooze. While these requirements don't guarantee the development of business at each Schmooze Event, the main purpose is to expand Circles of Influence; and that by expanding Circles of Influence, business will eventually be generated.
Most traditional networking groups meet on the 3rd Thursday (or 2nd Friday, or 1st Monday...) of each month. As a member of those groups, you're obligated to that schedule.
